La colline des Organisations Internationales (OMS, ONU…) est un territoire exceptionnel, un paysage urbain atypique, mi-ville, mi-campagne en plein centre de Genève. Le domaine contient une menace latente : le renfermement foncier sécuritaire. Au-delà de la conception de ce schéma d’urbanisme paysagers, cette étude préfigure la création de deux remarquables promenades traversant le quartier, avec pour ambition de mailler le site aux quartiers environnants, en intégrant le futur tramway sur la route de Ferney, et en valorisant transparence urbaine et identité paysagère.

Geneva: Jardin des Nations
The Hill of International Institutions (WHO, UN…) is an exceptional, atypical urban landscape – half city, half country – in the heart of Geneva. It faces a latent threat, with growing concerns about security. Along with a design schema for public spaces, Ilex anticipated the creation of two high-profile promenades that will connect up neighbouring areas, incorporating the future tram line to Ferney that should enhance urban transparency and landscape identity.
